By combining "Encourage Japan," an AI search service provided by Unified Service, with Pluszero's AI technical and implementation capabilities, the service analyzes large volumes of documents including special characters and non-standard text, summarizes them with AI, instantly generates summarized text, and returns a response based on an understanding of the searcher's intent.
Compared to the currently rapidly spreading large language models that learn a wide range of information, this service sets the target information in advance and searches and summarizes it, making it possible to understand more reliable and accurate information, as well as specialized and difficult information in easier-to-understand sentences. This service will be available through direct sales of Unified Services from October 2023.
■ Development Background
Together with Pluszero, we have continued to explore new services that combine the features of each. In recent years, the digitalization of business processes in Japanese companies and organizations has progressed rapidly, and at the same time, many documents have been digitized in each company and organization. On the other hand, as a result, the preservation of information has increased, but many companies and organizations are not able to fully utilize their information assets. In addition, while many companies and organizations have high hopes for the use of LLMs (large-scale language models), it is also true that generalized LLMs have outdated information, or misinformation is spread due to AI hallucination, and ethical issues have arisen.
In order to quickly resolve these situations, the two companies have collaborated to combine Pluszero's AI technology and Unified Service's ability to integrate various services to develop a solution for companies and organizations, which we are now offering. The
core of this service will be Pluszero's highly accurate AI-OCR technology, which is one of the basic AI technologies, and a learning model optimized for Japanese. Unified Service will realize this service by integrating the information structuring and AI search service functions of "Encourage Japan," which is already being offered.
■ AI Search & Summary Service (AI-3S) Overview
There is a never-ending stream of needs around the world, including requests from inside and outside organizations to "easily understand highly specialized information," requests from companies and organizations that "cannot send out incorrect information from their companies," and "still want to use AI to improve productivity." This service is provided based on Pluszero's technology, which has been providing services applying natural language processing technology specializing in Japanese, and our company's technical capabilities to integrate (unify) existing cloud services. with OCR's+OCR's+ is an OCR service provided by Plus Zero. It flexibly extracts text information from document files regardless of format, including non-standard forms. 2. Information structuring function
Using the information structuring function of "Encourage Japan Content", we will structure the relevant documents and generate a database that can be published on the Internet. In addition, structuring will make it easier for AI to read.
3. Using the search service that uses natural language analysis of the AI search function
"Encourage Japan Search," queries that understand the search intent are generated on the backend, and structured data is searched to quickly return more accurate information.
4. Document division function using semantic understanding AI
The document is divided into meaningful chunks according to AEI (Artificial Elastic Intelligence), a natural language processing concept uniquely advocated by Plus Zero.

5. AI summary function
The search results are further summarized and provided to the customer. The method of displaying the summary results can be designed according to customer requests.
The service is planned to be provided in two phases as follows:
Phase 1 (available from October 2023):
Using OCR's+ provided by PlusZero, we will digitize documents and perform multi-level summarization. In addition, we will use AEI technology to semantically divide large amounts of text before summarizing, aiming for automation.
Phase 2 (scheduled to begin in February 2024)
will be integrated with our AI search service "Encourage Japan" to expand the summary service in response to user searches. At the same time, the information will be structured.
This service is also provided through system integration to the IT and management departments of medium to large-scale companies, as well as to public agencies. Each solution is then individually packaged and provided as SaaS (System As A Service), with customers signing up for a monthly subscription.
